The present invention relates to a method for isolating nucleic acid from a sample comprising formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue fragments, to a kit for isolating nucleic acid, and to a dissolving buffer solution for isolating nucleic acid. The method for isolating nucleic acid comprises the following steps: (a) adding salts, a solution including polyethylene glycol (PEG), and magnetic beads in a sample produced and isolated by dissolving FFPE tissue fragments; and (b) obtaining the magnetic beads and isolating nucleic acid from the same.
