1. A method for manufacturing a polarizing plate, the method comprising:
providing a polyvinyl alcohol-based polarizer dyed with at least one or more of iodine and dichromatic dyes; providing a protection film and a release film on one surface of the polarizer; and forming at least one depolarization region by bringing a decoloring solution into local contact with the other surface of the polarizer, wherein the release film is provided on a surface of the protection film, which is opposite to a surface facing the polarizer, the depolarization region has single transmittance of 80% or more and a polarization degree of 10% or less at a wavelength band in a range of 400 nm to 800 nm, and a maximum sagging depth of the depolarization region is 10 μm or less.
