PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus the power consumption of which can be reduced, and an ultrasonic probe.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus includes an ultrasonic probe, reception part, selection part, and clock control part. The ultrasonic probe includes a plurality of ultrasonic vibrators, transmits ultrasonic waves to an analyte and receives reflected waves from the analyte. The reception part includes a signal processing part for handling a plurality of reception paths and performing signal processing on input from the ultrasonic probe, and sequentially obtains reception signals which is based on the reflected waves, for each focus point of the ultrasonic waves. The selection part selects a reception path. The clock control part outputs a clock signal to a signal processing part corresponding to the reception path selected by the selection part, and stops outputting the clock signal to a signal processing part corresponding to a reception path not selected by the selection part. |
