An image processing device (30) accepts, as an initial image FDM, input of an image outputted by a plurality of line sensors arranged in a main scanning direction each having a portion in which the adjoining edges of detection ranges overlap, the image having an overlapping region in a region of the portion in which the detection ranges overlap, and is provided with a brightness correction unit (40) and an image combining unit (33). A black correction/white correction unit (31) performs black correction and white correction on the initial image FDM, and outputs a shading-corrected image SDM. The brightness correction unit (40) calculates a correction coefficient on the basis of a pixel value of the overlapping region, corrects the brightness of a displacement-corrected image using the correction coefficient, and outputs a brightness-corrected image CDM. The image combining unit (33) combines the brightness-corrected images CDM to generate a reconstructed image RDM. |
