A storage-stable, aqueous, workable and grindable, chip-resistant one-component coating agent which is hardenable at below 100 deg C and which contains pigments and additives conventionally used in auto series fillers has a binder comprising (i) two polyurethane (PUR) dispersions (A) and (B) with specific Pendulum Hardnesses and (ii)a highly-reactive melamine resin. A storage-stable, aqueous, workable and grindable, chip-resistant one-component coating agent which is hardenable at below 100 deg C and which contains pigments and additives conventionally used in auto series fillers has a binder comprising (i) two polyurethane (PUR) dispersions (A) and (B) with DIN 53517 Pendulum Hardnesses above and below 90s respectively and (ii) a commercially-available highly-reactive melamine resin.
