PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mothproofing material forming a sufficient space for the evaporation of a normal-temperature evaporating mothproofing component from the mothproofing material even by placing the mothproofing material between the upper part of the bottom of the drawer of a chest or the upper part of the bottom of a clothespress and a member permeating the normal-temperature evaporating mothproofing component. SOLUTION: The mothproofing material contains a tablet containing a solid carrier and a normal-temperature evaporating mothproofing component and held in a recess of a container having a bottom part, a side wall part and a flange part extending outward in circumferential direction from the upper end of the side wall and having a protrusion on the flange.
