PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed circuit board processing machine capable of improving processing efficiency by preventing setting of an inappropriate Z point. SOLUTION: A blade length L1 for every drill 15 is stored in advance in a storage device 50. A height from the surface of a table 19 at a distal end of the drill 15 at a moving origin is H. A distance between the distal end of the drill 15 and a distal end of a pressure foot 35 is L2. The height H and the distance L2 are known in advance. A distance A between the distal end of the pressure foot 35 and the printed circuit board 18 to be a workpiece is determined by a sensor 72 and a dog 71 fixed to the pressure foot 35. The sum of the distance A, the distance L2 and the blade length L1 is compared with a distance (Rp+Zp) from the moving origin inputted by a worker to a processing end position. In the case of (A+L2+L1)>(Rp+Zp), the processing is performed. In the other cases, the processing is stopped. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
