<p>A roughness measuring program makes a computer carry out measurement processing of the degree of roughness as an index of apparent roughness of a subject image, wherein the measurement processing of the degree of the roughness divides the subject image into prescribed size meshes including a plurality of pixels, measures luminance differences between adjacent pixels in a prescribed direction with regard to each pixel forming each mesh, calculates a ratio of the total number of pixels in a central region of a prescribed width region into which a null luminance pixel is inserted to the total number of pixels in a nearly central region of a prescribed width region where the luminance difference is positioned outside of the central region as the degree of roughness of the mesh, and outputs the maximum value of the degree of roughness for each mesh as the degree of roughness of the entire image.</p> |
