PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which enables players to take a break in the midst of the prolonged game by placing a mitt at a waist panel part of the game machine having a shooting input button specialized for shooting to be made valid only for the specified period. SOLUTION: The game machine is constituted of: punching pads 90L, 90C and 90R which output stop command signals for directing the stop of the variable display of corresponding symbols on reels 3L, 3C and 3R by responding to the application of pressures exceeding a prescribed value from outside; a reel stop signal circuit 46 which makes the pressures applied to the punching pads 90L, 90C and 90R valid under a prescribed game state to stop the variable display of the symbols on the reels 3L, 3C and 3R corresponding to the stop command signals in response to the detection of the stop command signals; and a punching lamp 91 for making a notification to the effect that the pressures applied to the punching pads 90L and 90C are valid.
