The method involves providing pressurizing panel (B), which is separated in a rolling pressurizing machine into two partial panels (TB1,TB2), and connecting a tapering unit (31) with a longitudinal end (L1) of former partial panel defining section of a longitudinal end of the pressurizing panel. The pressurizing panel is tapered by the tapering unit. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a tapering arrangement for tapering pressurizing panel into rolling pressurizing machine; (2) a rolling pressurizing machine with a tapering arrangement; and (3) a connecting device for connecting a partial panel with a tapering unit of a rolling pressurizing machine.
