The present invention provides a reading supporting apparatus using an eye tracking sensor and a method thereof. The reading supporting apparatus using an eye tracking sensor includes: an eye tracking sensor tracking a gaze of a user who reads content; and a control unit determining whether or not it is a situation that additional information should be provided to the user by using prestored profiling information related to the reading of the user, corresponding to the tracking information of the eye tracking sensor, and providing additional information and an additional function required for the reading of the content according to the determined result. |
