The present invention relates to a DNA marker for selecting a jubilee-type (JT) watermelon stripe pattern trait. In particular, the present invention provides a marker for determining a JT stripe pattern watermelon species, wherein the marker includes any one or more among an AT14-900 DNA marker represented by SEQ ID NO: 1 and a wsbin6-11 DNA marker represented by SEQ ID NO: 2. Moreover, provided are a primer set capable of amplifying the marker, a kit for determining a JT stripe pattern watermelon species, and a method for determining a JT stripe pattern watermelon species. A JT stripe pattern species is very rapidly and accurately raised by using such a DNA marker, so the DNA marker is expected to be greatly utilized in breeding programs of a seed company. |
