Provided is a disposable diaper which is so improved that the periphery of a waist opening does not stimulate skin and hardly curls up. In at least one of front and rear waist regions (11,12), multiple waist elastic bodies (24,34), which extend in a stretched state in the widthwise direction (X) and reach both side edges of the waist region, are arranged between the lengthwise-direction upper end of an absorbing structure (42) and the periphery of a waist opening (15), thereby forming an elastic region (25,35). Each of the waist elastic bodies (24,34) comprises a first waist elastic body (26a,36a) and a second waist elastic body (26b,36b), and the first waist elastic body (26a,36a) has a lower elongation force than that of the second waist elastic body (26b,36b). In the other waist region, the first waist elastic body (26a,36a) is positioned at the uppermost part of an elastic region, and at least one second waist elastic body (26b,36b) is positioned below the first waist elastic body (26a,36a). |
