The device is configured to be fitted to a panel and provide an opening through the panel when in the open position. The closure can substantially seal with the frame when in the closed position and may transmit light. The closure can include a gripping portion, such as a castellated perimeter. The frame and the closure may be substantially circular, with the frame including a female threaded portion and the closure including a corresponding male threaded portion. The device may be fitted to an intermodal freight container, such that the closure can be removed from within the container and the device is positioned proximal to a door locking mechanism so that a door can be opened by a person inside the container by reaching through the aperture of the device. -1/3 Figure 1 Figure 2 |
