摘要 The invention relates to a flow meter (1) for flow measurement of flowing fluids, said fluids flowing over a measuring path located in a measuring tube (10), said measuring path, in at least one section, having a main channel (24;26) and at least one secondary channel (25;27,27a,28). A signal incoupling device (8, 9) incouples a measurement input signal into the fluid flowing through the main channel (24;26) and a signal detection device (9, 8) detects the measurement input signal and/or a response signal produced on the basis of the measured input signal. For a predetermined fluid, the fluid flows through the main channel (24;26) and the secondary channels (25;27,28), in particular over the respective complete cross-section thereof, both at a first total flow rate of the fluid per time and at a second total flow rate of the fluid, which is greater than the first total flow rate. The ratio of the flow rate through all secondary channels (25;27,28) to the flow rate through the main channel (24;26) is greater at the second total flow rate than at the first total flow rate.
