PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of cooling and dehydrating bean sprouts, cut vegetables, etc., with one device. SOLUTION: This method is to arrange an entrance 11a on one side of a case 11 and an exit 11b on the other side, install a mesh conveyor 14 inside of the case to have an almost horizontal carrier surface feed bean sprouts, cut vegetables, etc., from the entrance by driving the mesh conveyor, cool them by blowing cooled air at the upper part of a section of the entrance side of the case from upward to downward, suction the cooled air at the upper part of a section of the exit side from above to below the mesh conveyor and dehydrate bean sprouts, cut vegetables, etc., on the mesh conveyor by jetting the cooled air through a nozzle 19b.
