PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system in which the danger of infection due to the contamination by virus is lowered without heating, drug additive, etc., and therefore the thermal denaturation of proteins in blood is hardly caused, by forming a device where a photocatalyst held on the surface of a base material is made to contact with blood preparation and by irradiating light to the photocatalyst. SOLUTION: This system comprises the following components: (1) a device formed in which a photocatalyst held on the surface of a base material is made to contact with blood preparation and the photocatalyst is at least one kind selected from a group comprising TiO, ZnO, SrTiO3, Fe2O3, CdS, CdSe, WO3, FeTiO3, GaP, GaAs, RuO2, MoS3, LaRhO3, CdFeO3, BiO3, MoS2, In2O3, CdO, SnO2, or the like; (2) light irradiating the photocatalyst on the device to lower infectivity due to the contamination by virus such as HIV.
