An injection moldings unit consists of a mould composed of at least two sections (11,12), an injection unit for a liquid mass, and an injection nozzle (3) that feeds into a channel (13a) in the primary mould section near the mould separation plane (4). The primary mould section can move via a horizontal guide parallel to the mould separation plane into the injection position. A secondary mould section can be moved vertically to and from the injection position. A closure unit (28) actuates the two moldings. Components can be placed in the primary mould section before injection takes place.
