Method for controlling a computer system (1) in which a number of instructions (2) are loaded into a computer unit (3) from a program memory (4). The instructions are not necessarily loaded in sequence. A single instruction (6) that makes a particular write access to a data memory (8) limits the reordering (9) of instructions in a predetermined manner.
