<p>The present invention relates to a definition of a DIGITAL ITEM, a data manipulation unit for electronic commerce activities such as generation, process, transaction, transmission, management, storage or usage of multimedia data.Especially, the method for configuring a new DIGITAL ITEM using a CHOICE and a SELECTION of DIGITAL ITEMs according to present invention helps the user to avoid making duplicate selection.
