PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antioxidant composition which has an antioxidative potential comparable to that of ethoxyquin or BHT, is inexpensive, ensures such a level of safety as to enable use in foods and cosmetics, and does not affect the growth of livestock and poultry.SOLUTION: The antioxidant composition contains a distillate of a vegetable oil as an active ingredient, and when it is added to foods, feeds, cosmetics or agricultural chemicals, oxidation of these can be prevented. When feeds to which the antioxidant composition has been added is fed to livestock or poultry, oxidation of obtained meat can be inhibited. |
