PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headrest frame for an automobile with rigidity equivalent to that of iron, capable of relieving the impact applied to an occupant of the automobile by breaking with a headrest left unbroken when unpredictably strong impact is applied. SOLUTION: The plastic headrest frame is attached to a seat 20 of the automobile to support the headrest 10. The headrest frame comprises two leg parts 2 each of which has a vertical part 2a and an inclined part 2b connected to the upper end of the vertical part, and a connection part 2 disposed crosswise between the upper ends of the inclined parts 2b. The headrest 10 is attached in such a way as to cover the whole of the upper ends of the vertical parts 2a, inclined parts 2b and the connection part 3.
