PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for acquiring a crystal comprising a complex of a glucocorticoid receptor ligand-binding domain and a ligand having a nonsteroid skeleton. SOLUTION: A method for acquiring the complex comprises culturing a microorganism which expresses a fused protein of the purified domain and the domain in the absence of the ligand, recovering the fused protein from a crushed material of a body cell of the recovered microorganism based on bondability of the purified domain and a purifying carrier, separating and recovering the complex by cutting a linker capable of being cut with a protease and existing in the purified domain of the fused protein with the protease, and bringing the microorganism, the cell, or the fused protein into contact with the linker prior to a process which comprises any one of the processes for crushing, recovering, and separating and in which the linker is cut with the protease. The method for acquiring the crystal containing the complex comprises recovering the crystal which is obtained by subjecting the complex obtained by the method for acquiring the complex to crystallization treatment.
