The device has a computation unit to compute a desired value of a number of injection durations. A restriction unit restricts an actual number of injection durations with a permissible number of injection durations according to a number of revolutions of a machine output shaft. A slackening unit regulates on the basis of temperature status information correlated with a temperature condition of the control circuit whether a thermal span is present, before a temperature of the control circuit achieves a permissible limit temperature. The operating equipment electrically operates a machine injection valve by a control circuit. An independent claim is also included for a fuel injection control method.
