The hydraulic saw blade clamp assembly for a saw frame, in a sawmill, has a clamping body (SK) at the frame (GR). The body has at least one pressure piston (K) where oil pressure through a press button (T) is transferred to the tool holder (A). Channels with a manometer connecting block take the oil under pressure from a pump with a manometer to display the pressure. On pumping to the working pressure, and extension of the press button to the limit stop and the cut-back (H), the clamping body will not bend or split if the button is not activated.
