Disclosed is a desalination apparatus. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an inner structure of the apparatus is improved to perform a desalination process in a single channel by using an ion concentration polarization phenomenon. Therefore, the apparatus can be small-sized; can be manufactured in an easy manner; and can be maintained and managed an easy manner. The apparatus includes a desalination chamber having the single channel in which a solution to be desalinized flows; an ion selective polymer which is provided through the single channel and separates the solution into positive ions, negative ions, and a brackish area between those by using the ion concentration polarization phenomenon; and at least one electric field unit which induces an electric field in the single channel. |
