<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary switch capable of easily inspecting 100% in the sealing property of products. <P>SOLUTION: The rotary switch 1 has a rotor housing section 11 ensuring a rotor chamber 11a on the inside and a connector housing section 12 fitting a waterproofing connector 8 and ensuring a terminal chamber 12a between the waterproofing connector 8 and the connector housing section 12. The rotary switch 1 further has a case 10 forming a partition wall 13 partitioning the rotor chamber 11a and the terminal chamber 12a and a rotor 20 being fitted to the rotor housing section 11 through a sealing member 21 and being capable of being rotated while ensuring the rotor chamber 11a together with the rotor housing section 11. The rotary switch 1 further has two connector terminals 31 and 32 extended from the terminal chamber 12a to the rotor chamber 11a through the partition wall 13 and a rotating terminal 40 being rotated together with the rotor 20 in the rotor chamber 11a and electrically conducting or disconnecting each connector terminal 31 and 32.
