<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam machining apparatus and a laser beam machining method capable of performing the laser beam machining of an object even when the profile (contour) of a surface of the object is variously changed in the radial direction. <P>SOLUTION: The laser beam machining apparatus comprises a table 21 for setting an object 10, and a machining head 31 for performing the laser beam machining of the object 10 by applying laser beam to the object 10. The table 21 is turned by a spindle motor 22, and driven in the radial direction by a feed motor 23. The machining head 31 is supported by a head driving device 30 so as to change the vertical position and the inclination. A controller 60 controls first and second motors 35, 36 by using the profile data indicating the profile in the radial direction of the object 10, and adjusts the height and the inclination of the machining head to the object 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
