PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize an arrangement route of a tube arranged between an ink tank and a carriage when arranging the ink tank out of an ink jet printer body.SOLUTION: A liquid injection device comprises: a liquid injection device body 2 which injects liquid toward a recording medium through a liquid injection head mounted on a carriage; a liquid container 110 arranged inside the liquid injection device body 2; and a liquid supply tube 120 arranged between the liquid container 110 and the carriage. The liquid injection device also has an interior space S formed by the liquid injection head and a discharge port including a region to discharge the recording medium.
