PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muscle promoter including fish meat protein of fish belonging to a Gadiformes, and a food product having a muscle promotion effect.SOLUTION: Provided is a muscle promoter for changing a slow muscle into a fast muscle type, and containing fish meat protein of fish belonging to a Gadiformes, in which walleye pollack fish meat protein has a muscle promotion effect.
