PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device that improves combustion of fuel such as light gas oil to be combusted by a combustion apparatus such as a heat engine to increase energy obtained by combustion.SOLUTION: The device includes at least: a magnet 8 and a piezo electric element 12. The magnet 8 applies a magnetic field M to the piezo electric element 12, whereby the piezo electric element 12 effectively works on the combusting fuel F to promote combustion.
