PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus and a hospital information system which can assist execution of an additional test at a proper timing.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus comprises an ultrasonic image measurement part, a determination part, a proper timing relevant information storage part, a specification part and a notification part. The ultrasonic image measurement part measures ultrasonic image data on a subject on the basis of the predetermined test measurement items. The determination part determines whether or not an additional test is required on the basis of the measurement result by the ultrasonic image measurement part. The proper timing relevant information storage part previously stores proper timing relevant information in which the predetermined test measurement items, additional test measurement items and a proper timing for the additional test are associated with each other. The specification part specifies a proper timing on the basis of the proper timing relevant information when it is determined that the additional test is required.
