PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a xanthan gum pelletized article for composition for thickening having xanthan gum concentration in the composition for thickening of 50 mass% or more and suppressed generation of lumps in a wide range of drink and food containing water content such as water, tea, soft drink, milk beverage, soup and concentrated fluid food, the composition for thickening containing the xanthan gum pelletized article and a manufacturing method therefor.SOLUTION: The above described problem is solved by a xanthan gum pelletized article for composition for thickening containing xanthan gum granule having hardness of 2 N or more and less than 8 N of 5 mass% or more and xanthan gum granule having hardness of 8 N or ore of 20 mass% or less in 100 mass% of the xanthan gum pelletized article, the composition for thickening containing the xanthan gum pelletized article and a manufacturing method therefor.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
