PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device of a multiwavelength mixed light emission type with a high light emission efficiency.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device 100 comprises: a base 10 having an element-setting plane 15; a first light-emitting element 20 provided on the element-setting plane, of which the luminescence peak wavelength is in a blue gamut; a second light-emitting element 30 provided on the element-setting plane, of which the luminescence peak wavelength is longer than that of the first light-emitting element; and a seal member 40 provided on the element-setting plane, including a phosphor 50 excited by light from the first light-emitting element, and serving to seal the first and second light-emitting elements. The seal member 40 includes a first region 401 in which the phosphor is present, and a second region 402 in which the phosphor 50 is substantially not present in turn from the side of the element-setting plane. The height of an upper face of the first light-emitting element is a height within the first region 401; the height of an upper face of the second light-emitting element is a height within the second region 402.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
