DISPLAY SYNCHRONIZATION SIGNAL GENERATION APPARATUS IN THE DIGITAL RECEIVER

An apparatus for generating a display synchronizing signal in a digital broadcast reception system is provided to make it possible to generate a stable screen output regardless of variation in transmission velocity of a received digital broadcast signal. A pixel clock generation part(130) generates a pixel clock based on a predetermined basic clock. A horizontal synchronizing signal generation part(140) generates a horizontal synchronizing signal of a picture which will be outputted by interworking with the pixel clock generated in the pixel clock generation part. The pixel clock has a frequency matched to an operation condition of a display unit that displays the outputted picture. The pixel clock generation part performs a plurality of scaling processes.
