PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable suppression of discomfort forced to a driver in changing lanes when a lane keep support is executed.SOLUTION: A drive support apparatus, for use in a lane keep support for controlling a vehicle so as to match a lateral position of the vehicle with a target lateral position within a travel lane and to cause steering of a driver of the vehicle to reflect to a travel of the vehicle, includes: a lane change operation recognition part for recognizing a lane change operation of the driver for changing lanes of the vehicle from the travel lane of the vehicle to an adjacent lane; and a target lateral position setup part for setting a lateral position of the vehicle at the time of determination as a target lateral position, in a case where steering torque of steering in a lane change direction caused by the driver is determined to be from a lane change standby threshold or more to less than the aforementioned lane change standby threshold in a period since a lane change operation recognition part recognizes a lane change operation to when it is determined that a pre-set lane change operation completion condition has been met, during execution of a lane keep support.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
