PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side mirror device which improves a degree of freedom of a housing shape, and is reducible in a size of a housing even if the side mirror device has a constitution in which a mirror base is engaged with the vicinity in the middle of the housing in a vertical direction.SOLUTION: A turning device (bearing device) 31 and a tiltable mechanism 36 are formed so as to oppose each other along a turning axial line of the turning device 31 with a mirror base 27 sandwiched therebetween. Concretely, the turning device (bearing device) 31 is formed at an upper side of a horizontal part 27a of the mirror base 27 which is formed into a plate shape, and covered with an upper cover 21. Furthermore, the tiltable mechanism 36 is formed at a lower side of the horizontal part 27b of the plate-shaped mirror base 27, and covered with a lower cover 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13 |
