1. A device, comprising:
one or more processors to:
receive, from a load balancing device, configuration information that identifies a set of nodes for which a status is to be determined;determine a backup node management device based on the configuration information,
the backup node management device being selected from the set of nodes for which the status is to be determined,the device being associated with a highest Internet Protocol (IP) address within a range of IP addresses, andthe backup node management device being associated with a next highest IP address within the range of IP addresses;provide the configuration information to the backup node management device;generate a data structure,
the data structure storing information that identifies the status of the set of nodes;transmit a status request to one or more nodes included in the set of nodes;determine a change in the status of the one or more nodes based on transmitting the status request;update the data structure based on determining the change in the status of the one or more nodes; andprovide, to the load balancing device, information that identifies the change in the status of the one or more nodes based on updating the data structure. |
