A transflective type LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device is provided to improve contrast and field of view by using a negative 'A' plate and a positive 'A' plate as a compensation file. A transflective type LCD device(300) comprises a transflective type LC panel(310), a polarizing plate(410) configured in a lower part of the LC panel, a first negative 'A' plate(414) and a first positive 'A' plate(412) configured in up and down between the polarizing plate and the LC panel, a photodetector configured in an upper part of the LC panel, and a second positive 'A' plate(418) and a second negative 'A' plate(416) configured in up and down between the photodetector and the LC panel.
