<p>A service protecting method for connectionless network, is applied among multiple protection switching points which belong to a same service instance, the multiple protection switching points are in a protection switching network which includes a working region and a protecting region, each protection switching point is connected with at least two opposite protection switching points, and establishes one path to one opposite protection switching point in the working region and the protecting region respectively. The method includes that each protection switching point detects respectively whether a fault occurs in a path connected with a opposite protection switching point in the working region and the protecting region, if a fault in a path of one region is detected to occur, the service transmitted in the path in which a fault occurs is switched to be transmitted in a path of another region, the path of another region connects with the opposite protection switching point of the path in which a fault occurs. A service protecting system for connectionless network and a protection switching device can realize protection switching based on paths, and avoid a flooding problem caused by protection switching effectively.</p> |
