PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environment in which the secondary use of an electronic copyrighted work is available to a user in the form of reflecting an intention to the secondary use of a copyrighted work when disclosing the copyrighted work on a network.SOLUTION: The method includes: receiving a use request for requesting the secondary use of the content of an electronic copyrighted work from a user terminal 1003, in which the secondary use policy of the writer of the electronic copyrighted work is associated with the electronic copyrighted work; determining whether or not the use request is coincident with the secondary use policy designated by the writer 1004; and transmitting a unique identifier associated with the use request and content in the electronic copyrighted work based on the determination or edited content based on the determination to the user terminal 1011.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
