A plasma display panel is provided to shield an EMI without blocking light by forming an EMI shielding layer, such that the EMI shielding layer corresponds to a barrier rib of the PDP(Plasma Display Panel). A plasma display panel includes a front and rear substrates(111,121), a barrier rib(130), an EMI(ElectroMagnetic Interference) shielding layer(102), an insulation layer(103), plural discharge electrodes(112), and a fluorescent material(126). The front and rear substrates are opposed to each other and define discharge spaces between them. The barrier rib is arranged between the substrates and defines plural discharge cells. The EMI shielding layer is arranged between the substrates and includes an EMI shielding portion and a ground portion. The insulation layer is formed on the EMI shielding layer. The discharge electrodes are formed on the insulation layer. The fluorescent material is arranged inside the discharge cells. The ground portion includes an area, which is exposed outside the insulation layer.
