PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure security with a simple mechanism without preparing an additional device for authentication in entering a special start mode. SOLUTION: This authentication device includes: a voltage value acquisition part 111 acquiring voltage value data related to a power voltage being supplied; a voltage pattern storage part 112 storing voltage pattern data of a power voltage as authentication data; and an authentication part 114 executing authentication for entering the special start mode by comparing the voltage value data acquired by the voltage value acquisition part 111 at start-up with the voltage pattern data stored in the voltage pattern storage part 112 by an evaluation function.
