PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means which enables the sustenance of expectations felt in continuation when a mission is added, not only once immediately after its addition during a mission mode in a pinball game machine having the mission mode. SOLUTION: In the pinball game machine, a shift is made to a special game normally or at a higher probability when a mission is cleared as imposed by a mission content decision means which enables the selection of a pseudosuccessive variation mode, that is so arranged as to execute a pseudovariation with a set of the variation and the temporary stoppage of identification information more than once, as a variation mode of identification information. The mission content decision means can select the addition of another mission given as mission content, as the pseudosuccessive variation advances in frequency when the pseudosuccessive variation is selected as the variation mode of the identification information by a performance content decision means.
