PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means which reduces a residual amount of ink in an ink cartridge. SOLUTION: In an ink supplying device 200, an ink outlet 91 through which the ink is flown outside from the vicinity of a bottom surface 103 of an ink chamber 102, is formed on its back face 34 side. The ink supplying device is also equipped with: the ink cartridge 100 to which a stopper 125 is provided on its top surface 36; a cartridge mounting part 202 in which the ink cartridge 100 is inserted from the back face 34 side and the ink cartridge 100 is held changeably in posture between a first posture and a second posture; a joint 208 provided in the cartridge mounting part 202 and connected to the ink supplying port 91; coil springs 48, 49, 86 and 96 which urge the ink cartridge 100 held in the cartridge mounting part 202 in a removal direction 29; and a lock arm 230 which engages with the stopper 125, and thereby controlling the ink cartridge 100 to the removal direction 29.
