Provided is a jig for fixing a plate-shaped battery cell of which an outer peripheral surface is sealed by thermal bonding after an electrode assembly is mounted in a battery case having an electrode assembly receiving unit. The jig for mounting a batery cell according to the present invention comprises: a jig main body including a battery cell mounting unit indented to mount one of both surfaces of a battery cell and a fixing groove formed in the inner wall of the battery cell mounting unit to insert and fix at least a portion of an outer peripheral surface sealing unit of the battery cell; and a jig cover mounted in the jig main body to surround the other surface of the battery cell in a state in which the battery cell is mounted in the battery cell mounting unit.
