PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an iron tower etc. from being damaged or collapsed by an excessive tensile force being applied to a power line.SOLUTION: A power line seismic isolator 1 is disposed at the other end part G2 side of an insulator G in which a power line L is connected at one end part G1 side. The power line seismic isolator 1 includes: a weak part 25 which breaks when a predetermined force is applied thereto; and a damper 3 which operates to expand and increase looseness of the power line L when the weak part 25 breaks.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
