PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bare module or the like that allows a pitch between electrodes to be narrowed in a planar lightwave circuit having a large number of optical switches, and a substrate size to be reduced.SOLUTION: When a wiring substrate 1 and a planar optical waveguide substrate 3 are connected in a bare module, first, a surface on a side on which electrodes 9 of the planar optical waveguide substrate 3 are provided and a surface on a side on which electrodes 7 of the wiring substrate 1 are provided are made to face each other, and are disposed to match positions of the electrodes 7 with those of the electrodes 9. After that, an anisotropic conductive film 5 is interposed between the planar optical waveguide substrate 3 and the wiring substrate 1, and pressure is applied while heating in such a direction that the planar optical waveguide substrate 3 and the wiring substrate 1 approach to each other. Consequently, the planar optical waveguide substrate 3 and the wiring substrate 1 are bonded with the anisotropic conductive film 5. According to the present invention, a heating condition is set so that a peeling strength of the anisotropic conductive film 5 is 1 to 7 N/cm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
