PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage device including a plurality of battery modules, connected in parallel, and cutting off the feed line of an abnormal battery module, the power storage device preventing a break of a battery in the battery module or a relay caused by a current flowing through the feed line of the battery module.SOLUTION: A power storage device 1 includes: relays 22 respectively inserted in the feed line of a plurality of battery modules 2 in parallel connection; and a control unit 3 which, on the occurrence of an abnormality in at least one battery module 2 among the battery modules 2, controls the operation of each relay 22 to cut off the feed line of the battery module 2 on which the abnormality occurs. When the number of residual battery modules 2, whose feed line is not cut off among the battery modules 2, comes to a predetermined number N, the control unit 3 controls the operation of each relay 22 so that the feed lines of the predetermined number N of the battery modules 2 are simultaneously cut off.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
