An input interface for which a left keyboard (10L) and a right keyboard (10R), which are configured such that there is duplication between a portion of their respective key arrays, are displayed in a divided manner respectively on the left and right of a touch panel screen, wherein the shape of the keyboards (10L, 10R) changes in accordance with whether the frequency of operations with respect to the keys on one of the keyboards which are facing the side edge of the other keyboard exceeds a prescribed threshold value. For example, when the frequency of operation with respect to the right-end keys of the left keyboard (10L) exceeds the threshold value, the keys (for example, the "U" character key) located adjacent to the portion of the right keyboard (10R) duplicating the left keyboard (10L) is also included in the left keyboard (10L), and the keys (for example, the "T" character key) located at the left end of the right keyboard (10R) are deleted from the right keyboard (10R). |
